Since its release in 2006 World of Warcraft became the most popular and successful MMORPG of all time.
Two expansions were released so far, expanding the content by the Outland, resembling the remains of the planet Draenor and the continent Northrend where the Lich King awaits reckless heroes.
The world of Azeroth
World of Warcraft sends you through the mystic world of Azeroth. Here you will find enchanted forests, snowy mountains, vast deserts and tropical islands. On higher levels players even travel to other dimensions or the arctic continent Northrend, which lies under the spell of the evil Lich King Arthas.
Choose a faction you want to fight for
Once your account is created and you log in you are up to decide whether you want to join the Alliance, which consists of Humans, Night Elves, Dwarfes, Gnomes and Draenei, exiles from another world, or the Horde combined of the Orcs, Tauren, Blood Elves, Trolls and the Forsaken, a group of undead who were freed from the Lich King.
After the creation of your character faction and race can’t be changed again so choose wisely.
Encounter the most legendary bossfights of the Warcraft lore
By gathering up to 40 fellow heroes you may dare to fight the most powerful characters of World of Warcraft. In those spectacular bossfights you continue the history of World of Warcraft and gather powerful equipment for your character.
Challenge other Players on the Battlegrounds
In World of Warcraft you fight players of the other faction on the battlegrounds where you conquer enemy fortresses with siege engines or defend the lands of your faction, gaining honor for yourself. Also you can compete in the arena for unique armors and weapons.
